We have been producing fan events in the North Dallas area since 1994 when Ben Stevens founded the DFW Toy Show which first opened in a small hotel in North Dallas. The event has grown through the years and through many venues. We now hold our events in the brand new spacious Irving Convention Center.

In 2001 C2 Ventures, Inc. was formed - A partnership of long time fans Ben Stevens and Philip Wise. Philip Wise owns and runs two of the largest STAR WARS websites on the internet (theforce.net, and rebelscum.com).

in 2002, Mark Walters, producer of another local comic book convention joined the team and has been keeping Texas comic book fans happy ever since as our event manager. The Dallas Comic Con is considered by many as the flagship comic event in Texas, and our annual Fan Days has become a highly anticipated event drawing fans worldwide.

In 2005 Official Pix a C2 Ventures company) was created and granted the Lucasfilm license for STAR WARS photographs and autographs. Official Pix also produces the autograph portion of the official STAR WARS Celebration conventions held every 2-3 years across the globe.
