Here is some information to help you with your travel plans to DCC.

Airports - there are two airports that service the North Dallas area. 1) Dallas/Ft Worth (DFW) International airport, and 2) Dallas Love Field. Both airports are approximately a 30-45 minute drive to the Plano area. 

Ground Transportation - since the airports are about 25-30 miles away, taxis can be expensive. We would recommend that you either book shuttle service or rent an economy car. 

Shuttle Service - For shuttle service to and from one of the above airports to your hotel, or the Plano Center, try 1-800-BlueVan or supershuttle.com.

Car Rental - A quick online search shows daily rates on car rentals as low as $21.00/day. Click here to check out rates from several rental car companies on expedia.com. By renting a car, you will have more flexibility on the hotel you select, and transportation to/from your hotel to the convention center. 

The Richardson Civic Center has several hotels along US-75 that are under a mile from the facility. You can check out a list of area hotels here.  Many under $60/night (lowest - Red Roof Inn at $44/night at time of this article.  If the link is not working, try here, and enter “Richardson, TX” into their search field to pull up a list of other area hotels.
